The short version

Everyone with an Athlete Made Easy account gets an invite code. If someone joins with your code and later pays for Plus, you earn 20% of what they pay, every month, for as long as they stay subscribed. Training is free, so nobody you invite has to spend anything for you to have done them a favour.

These terms are between you and Connor Barth, doing business as Athlete Made Easy (sole proprietor, Orlando, Florida). They sit on top of the Terms of Service, which still apply.

Who can take part

Anyone with an account has a code — you do not sign up for anything, and your code starts working the moment your account exists.

Cash payouts are for adults. To be paid money you must be 18 or over, because paying you means collecting a tax form, and a minor cannot give one.

Under 18, you earn credit instead. Same 20%, same rules — it builds up as credit you spend on Plus whenever you like. No form, no minimum, nothing to sign. When you turn 18 you can switch to cash for anything you earn after that.

You need to be at least 13 to have an account at all, which is in the main terms.

How someone becomes yours

They use your code. They can tap your link, scan your QR, or type the six characters on the sign-up screen. All three do the same thing.

Or they enter it within 90 days. If they already made an account, they can add your code from inside the app for up to 90 days after signing up. After that the window closes.

The first code wins, and it is permanent. An account can only ever be credited to one person, and it cannot be moved afterwards — not by you, not by them, not by us.

You cannot refer yourself. Your own code will not attach to your own account, and creating extra accounts to earn on yourself voids the earnings and the account.

What you earn, and when it stops

20% of every payment they make for Plus — monthly or annual, for as long as their subscription stays active. There is no cap and no expiry date on it.

If they cancel, it ends. If that same person later subscribes again, the commission does not come back. That is deliberate: the commission is for bringing someone who stays, not for a name on a list.

A failed card is not a cancellation. If their subscription ends because a payment did not go through rather than because they chose to leave, your referral survives and picks up again if they fix it.

Nothing is earned on free accounts. Most people you invite will never pay for anything, and that is fine — the training is free on purpose.

When the money becomes yours

45 days after the payment. A commission is recorded the moment their payment succeeds, but it is held for 45 days first, because a payment can be refunded and a refunded payment cannot fund a commission.

Refunds and chargebacks reverse it. If their payment is refunded in full or in part, the matching commission is reduced by the same proportion. If that happens after you have already been paid, the difference comes off your next payout rather than being invoiced to you.

Getting paid

$50 minimum. Once you have at least $50 that has cleared the 45 days, it goes into the payout queue. Below that it keeps adding up.

One tax form, once. The day you have earned $50 we email you a W-9 (or a W-8BEN if you are outside the US). US law requires it of us before we can pay you, and we cannot send money until it is back — but nothing you earn while we wait is lost. We do not collect it in the app and we never ask for a Social Security number by message or in a form on this site.

Paid by PayPal, to the address you give us, usually within a couple of weeks of clearing the threshold. If we pay you $2,000 or more in a calendar year you get a 1099-NEC and so does the IRS (that figure is set by the IRS and moves with inflation). What you owe on it is between you and your own tax situation — we cannot advise you on it.

Credit works differently. If you take your earnings as credit — the default, and the only option under 18 — nothing is converted for you. It builds up as a balance, and you spend it when you like: a month of Plus for $15, a year for $150, and anything else we add to the list at its price. Save it up or spend it as you go. No threshold, no form. If you already pay for Plus, what you redeem comes off your next bill; if you don’t, Plus is switched on for the period.

Credit is credit. It never expires, but it has no cash value and cannot be converted to cash, sold, or transferred. If you switch to cash later, only what you earn after the switch is paid as cash.

The rules when you post

These are short because they matter, and breaking them is the one thing that gets an account removed from the program.

Say it is a paid link. Every time. “I get a commission if you join” or “#ad” in the post itself — not in a bio, not behind a “more” fold, not in a comment. This is FTC law, it applies to you and not only to us, and it is genuinely the entire ask.

Never promise a result. No inches, no timelines, no “this will add X to your vertical”. Say what happened to you and let it be your story.

Do not pretend to be us, or to be nobody. No accounts, ads or pages that look official, no posing as a neutral reviewer, no buying ads on our name or brand.

No spam, and nothing bought. No unsolicited email or DMs, no coupon or cashback sites, no paid traffic to your link, no bots, no fake accounts.

Nothing that would embarrass either of us. No adult, hateful, illegal or medical-claim content anywhere near your link.

What we can do

We can void earnings that are not real. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraud, and referrals that came from any of the rules above being broken get reversed, and we do not pay them out.

We can end or change the program. Rates, thresholds and windows can change with notice on this page. If we change them, anything you have already earned is earned at the rate that applied when it happened. If the program ends entirely, we pay out cleared balances above the minimum.

You are not our employee, partner or agent. You are an independent participant in a referral program. Nothing here makes you a representative of Athlete Made Easy, and you cannot speak or sign for us.

You can stop whenever you like, and deleting your account ends participation along with everything else.
